A trade Involves a Transaction to buy and sell a Share or Commodity. A share is nothing but a part of a company or an organization. Each and every share is a part of a company or an organization. A commodity is nothing but a commodity (Eg: Rice, chilly, wheat,etc…). Each and every share represents an ownership of an company. As the number of shares increases by an individual or an organization there ownership claim increases in the company. The registrar of a company issue the shares of a company. The Shares of a company is basically listed in stock exchange. There are many stock exchanges in the world. Example :   NSE ( National Stock Exchange), BSE( Bombay Stock Exchange). These are the two major stock exchanges in INDIA. Nifty is the index of National Stock Exchange. Sensex is the index of Bombay Stock Exchange. Nifty is an index of top 50 companies listed in the index. Sensex is an index of top 30 companies listed in the exchange. Equity, Share, Or Stock Represents the same.
