Linking Aadhar has been made mandatory as per the Circular Issued by the Income Tax Department. But the Supreme Court of India has extended the date of Linking Aadhar with various Services Like PAN, Bank Accounts, etc… The Last Date to Link Aadhar with PAN Card has been extended Indefinitely.
However Income Tax Department has given the users the option to Link Aadhar with PAN Card. Citizens with a Valid PAN Card can avail this facility to Link AAdhar with PAN Card.
The Steps to Link Aadhar with PAN Card is Listed Below.
Step 1: Visit the Income Tax Website https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
Step 2: On the Left hand Corner there is Link to Link Aadhar click on that link.
Step 3: Enter the PAN Information, Aadhar Number and Name as per Aadhar Card as mentioned in the Page below.
Once the Information provided is authenticated the Aadhar is Linked Successfully with PAN Card. In Some cases if there is mismatch in Name of the Aadhar Card with PAN records. Then the Info in either PAN Card or Aadhar needs to be Corrected.
